Ligori's Pizza & Pasta
4421 Harrison Boulevard, Ogden, UT 84403-3110
(801) 476-0476‎

The pizza connoisseur in me wants to appreciate all pizza places, but knowing that Ligori's has been in business for 19 years and then eating there, makes me ask the question-how are they still in business?

There appears to be regulars and the local police who keep the seats warm.

The crust is average and the food (pasta and sandwiches) is merely okay.

On April 15th, 2010 Ligori's on Harrison will be closing. They are likely moving next to Golden Jade off 4800 in the old juice bar location.

Let's hope the visibility and the new venue pushes them to improve on the pizza dough.

For now you can enjoy vinyl table cloths, a mix match of wooden sports carvings, eclectic Italian paintings, and scenic Italian light fixtures on the ceiling while listening to 80's music (oh Brian Adams!). I have to admit the service is good and the prices are reasonable. If only the food was worth coming back for.

A better choice may be to stay home in your pajamas with a $1 red box movie and order Domino's.

Perhaps a little harsh.....I have had the Hawaiian pizza and thought it was good.

  1. Generally, I found the pizza and the hot sandwiches to be pretty good. The last time I went with Utah Foodie, the pizza we ordered was disappointing. We did order breadsticks with garlic and parmesan and they were good; in fact, what made the pizza so disappointing was the fact that the pizza do was similar (read...exactly the same as) to the bread.
